Nethercutt Collection and Museum
The Nethercutt Collection
The dazzling photo above has the prized Nethercutt Beautiful Classic Cars
collection mostly from the 1920's through the 1940's showcased in a type of
palace that these cars would have been showcased in when they were for sale.
These vehicles are pieces of working functional art in which the super rich
of the 1920's would buy to add to their collection of beautiful things.
Some of these vehicles such as the 20 grand car would cost as much
as 15 homes in its day and many of these cars have hundreds of man hours in
them as they are now one of a kind. Many of these working Nethercutt museums
cars from yesteryear have won the coveted Pebble Beach best of show award which
is the highest award you can give to a classic car considered an art form above
all the rest. At the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance 2008 the 1934 Packard 1108
LeBaron Sport Phaeton owned by the Nethercutt Collection -- of Jack & Helen
Nethercutt, in Sylmar, California, was recognized as the most elegant open-top
car. If you want to see this special palace of cars you must RSVP and get on
the tour list. TELEPHONE (818)-367-2251 tour 818-364-6464
The Nethercutt vehicles run well and have been masterfully restored. If the classic
car parts cannot be found, they are fabricated from photographs to give the
original look and feel of that car in that era. Most fabrication and refurbishing
is done on site except for the cars wheels and windshield glass.
How can you see such a beautiful collection up close?
